Read this on a forum
"GMC was limited due to constant bugs and hard to use interface that was never fixed. Insanely slow menus, no ability to customize season length/playoffs/schedule, prospect ratings that were set in stone, ridiculous trades, and constant injuries to players that left half of your roster out of the game. Never got fixed or saw better treatment and in turn didn't get the level of reception it should have gotten"
"EA wonders why nobody plays GMC when players vanish from your roster near the cap, or the AI goalie change with a late stoppage in play desync bug, or the fact that injuries were broken and did not carry over from game to game. No goalie fatigue or ability to even switch to the backup.
How can you judge a game mode when you don't even properly support it after release and then wonder why the numbers were down? GMC despite the flaws is still one of the better modes and was a welcome return after it was gutted many years ago when it was known as Commisioner Mode"
Makes me think - Why dont make our own GMC for 15 with no crazy bugs and free from ridiculous slow menus. its definatley doable!

That is actually a great idea. 1 v 1 in online play. We make up a schedule and do a season that way

Can we bring custom rosters into 1v1? Likely, no. Which is why I said we would probably have to mimic real life and use the newest rosters. Injuries would be included because of the online rosters. It would be the absolute most realistic way to play the league anyway. Would have no need for a trade committee or anything. Would still be fun, just harder work on everyone's part.

No player growth or prospects though. Well it's either sacrifice that, or no league at all lol. I will be selling NHL for ps3, and buying NHL15 for ps4.

We may still be able to get a decent group of people to stick with the ps3 game. I just can't see myself buying the ps4 version with them taking out the two best game modes and three others and still bending me over for $60 because they got new announcers

Same here cbj. I had plans to go get a Ps4 in a couple weeks . But today's news changed all that. Not worth it to spend 450$ plus pay online for Ps4 and not have gmc or eashl . I am 100% in on a ps3 nhl 15 league for this with our teams we picked . Let's hope the majority of the vets decide as well

I own a ps4, but I dont plan on giving EA any of my money this year after this fuck up. I would be ok staying with the ps3 league.
