It can be done.
Who would be interested?
come up with some sort of format and how we would do everything, type it up where it makes sense lol and lets see if anyone would be interested
Regular NHL season calender for game scheduling.
Games via online vs. (I don't think we can set period length to 8mins though? tuner set can't be changed either?).
After every game, GM's need to take a pic (phone or via ps4 share function) of scoresheet and game stats.
Post both pics on both team pages (create a day and game number for each game)
Playing period per 'sim' is one month every week (sim Sat evening?) which is about 12-13 games each week.
Teams cannot play new Month's games if they have over 3 games left unplayed of last Month's schedule.
Small exceptions can be made when people are off for holidays, provided they can schedule games in advance or shortly after week they are away.
Each GM needs to record info on team record (w-l-ot w ; etc.) and on scoring for all players on team.
(excel file maybe that is same for all teams)
For team standings and league topscorers, we need to do an update each week after sim with new standings and score overview. I don't think we can do goalie stats (too much work).
We can still have a max games per goalie in regular season though (Durability rating - 20?)
After a full season, final standings will determine playoffs.

Now, since online vs games:
- rosters are online rosters (so no trades)
- injuries in 'real life nhl' will be taken into account in online rosters - so if kessel gots hurt for about 4 in real nhl, this would mean that in the league, toronto gm is unable to play with kessel for about 4 months in league.. (since 4 weeks realtime is about 4 months (4sims) in league). I am not sure whether there is some way to deal with this.
- on the other hand, in-game injuries have no effect on next games (one could destroy kane in one game, but he will still be able play next online vs game).

So basically, we are still able to do play a season - 30 GMs required though.
No drafting, no development, and injuries are a bit of a tricky issue.
Regular online gameplay tuner, and questionmark about 8mins period (either 5 or 10 only?).
I think it still would be fun, especially if we can have a core of players of last season - I think there would be quite some other people interested in ps4 league.
It will only work if we have honest and dedicated GMs though - it requires a bit more work and discipline from all GMs involved.
Some pro's vs ps3:
- we get to play nhl15 with better graphics and updated gameplay
- we can stream games (playoffs particularly) via twitch; we could have our own twitch channel with a planned game of the week where others could join, watch and comment.
- after first season, we could actually redo a draft for teams, so people get a chance to play for the cup with a different team in 2nd season.
I would be willing to put some time in this, provided we have a core of 3-4 people interested in doing the same.
